I’m stuck on second sleeve island.
Each Wednesday, I post little snippets about the projects I’m working on.
Déjà vu? Me too.
This sweater sleeve looks eerily similar to how it looked last week. It is slightly longer – I manage to squeeze in a couple hours of selfish knitting this week, but that’s about it.
Almost all of my crafting time has been spent working on a project I can’t talk about yet (sad panda). So I’ve spent the week working away on it, and starting longingly at the piles of things I want to make.
In the meantime, I’ve been loving the hell out of my handspun-handknit sweater, and it’s rekindled my spinning interest.
knitting some sleeves and hiding from the weather

One big lump of knitting progress this week. Sleeves!
Over the weekend I finished one sleeve of my sweater and started the second sleeve of my second “Perfect for Layering Purple Sweater.”
Other than that all of my knitting time has been focused on knitting the sample for a project I won’t be able to show you for awhile. Sad panda.
I’m crossing my fingers that I can steal a couple hours to work on that second sleeve some more – maybe this weekend.
Meanwhile, I’ve spent most of my time hiding from the cold, wearing multiple pairs of tights, and plotting more sweater knitting.
I started a new sweater & knit some pockets this week
Each Wednesday, I post little snippets about what’s happening, and what I’m working on.
Two projects got all my attention this week. But they got lots of attention.
I finished the pockets of my winter coat. (Finally!)
And I started a new sweater, it’s a top down yoked sweater, I’m through the waist, and it’s been flying. I can’t wait to wear it.
