tackling a 10 year old project-in-progress
Each Wednesday, I take stock of the projects I’m working on.
Unpacking a million boxes has led to re-finding a startling number of long forgotten project – many duds – and some not-so-duds.
I started this latch hook rug probably 10 years ago, and rather than stick it back in a box for another 10 years, I’ve been using it to procrastinate tackling mind-numbing stacks of papers.
happiest of happy new years-es…
Each Wednesday, I take stock of the projects I’m working on.
No crafting – just a week of eating, reading, and cuddling with puppy dogs.
(Plus finding long forgotten rubber duckies, while unpacking boxes from 3 moves ago that have been living at my parent’s house for years…)
Happiest of happy new years-es!! Have an amazing end of 2015!
a Thursday morning, Christmas eve, usually Wednesday crafting update
Each Wednesday, I take stock of the projects I’m working on.
No knitting, or sewing, or spinning, or weaving this week, just packing boxes, shuffling boxes from one place to another, and running moving errands + Christmas errands + travel errands (which is far too many errands). In all that, this week seemed to disappear in a puff of smoke, and Wednesday melded right into Thursday.
But the disappearance of this week, also means that (unlike last year) I didn’t decide to craft Christmas gifts with only one week to go!! (Which may not be a win for any gift recipients, but is definitely a win for my stress levels.)
If you’re getting ready to celebrate Christmas – have an amazing holiday!
And if not – have a great weekend anyway!
