weaving in many ends, sewing together many yards, and editing many, many words
Each Wednesday, I post a snapshot of the projects I’m working on, and where my brain is at.
Picking away at projects one end at a time, one stitch at a time, and one word at a time.
I’m continuing to work my way through weaving in the ends of a sweater with a million ends. And I spent most of yesterday sewing 7 yards of a bright red silk for a theater project. While carving out times to edit many words about knitted shawl shaping.
weaving in ends, and a colorful to-do list
Each Wednesday, I post a snapshot of the projects I’m working on, and where my brain is at.
Rather than casting on for a new knitting project this week, I picked up an old, old, old knitting project that just needs a TON of ends woven in. I figure if I weave in a couple ends every evening, the sweater will get done faster than if I shove it in a bag at the back of my closet for another year or two.
And the edits for Shawl Geometry Book 3 continue. But I now have a brightly color to-do list for the project.
writing, and editing, and contemplating a knitting project

“My belief of book writing is much the same as my belief as to shoemaking. The man who will work the hardest at it, and will work with the most honest purpose, will work the best.” –Anthony Trollope via Brain Pickings
I’m finding this an oddly comforting quote at the moment, and contemplating finding a new knitting project (or maybe a shoemaking project).
Tippity, tap, tap, tap. Tippity, tap, tap, tap. Tippity, tap, tap, tap.
