Anwar means “brighter,” “luminous,” or “light,” depending on where you look. Either way knitting this shawl certainly made a rather dull winter a little bit brighter.
The four row, six stitch, lace repeat is easily memorizable, but builds upon itself to create a stunning shawl.
Instructions are also included for a half circle.

Elegant. Delicate. Luxurious.
The shawl ghosts across the shoulders, and triangles mirror themselves to create this geometric stitch pattern.
This is a simple rectangular shawl with a crisp clear stitch pattern, and a generous garter stitch border. Pair it with a simple black dress, and a beautiful shawl pin, to make it the epitome of understated elegance.
Knit in one piece from cast on to bind off, this pattern uses one skein of lace weight yarn to create a warm but delicate shawl, designed to stun. The vertical lines of the stitch pattern draw the eye all the way up the shawl, while the understated garter border holds it all together.

Asymmetrical Bluebells

Worked all in one piece, Asymmetrical Bluebells is a long shallow triangular shawl, with a simple sawtooth edging all along one edge, and a smattering of stylized flower motifs scattered across a garter stitch background.
The long triangular shape makes it perfect for draping across the shoulders as a shawl, or wrapping around the neck as a scarf. This shawl begins by casting on 3 stitches at one end, and is then worked side to side, with one increase every 6th row along one edge.
Originally knit & shown in handspun, Malabrigo sock (2 skeins) makes a wonderful substitute.
