the swatching has to stop eventually…
Each Wednesday, I take stock of the projects I’m working on, and where my brain is at.
The swatching has to stop eventually…
…but then comes weaving in all the ends.
I’ve gotten through the knitting for the new shapes that will be included in the Shawl Geometry Books Update! There are still a handful of supporting swatches to knit, and I’m sure a couple swatches to re-knit, but the majority of the knitting is done!
Huzzah!
Of course there’s the writing, and the blocking, and the photographing, and the editing, and the weaving in of endless ends – but now that can all be interrupted with knitting on my rather neglected sweater project.
And rather than trying to dig my blocking wires out of storage, I made a Michael’s run and picked up some floral wire – which I think will double nicely as short blocking wires, perfect for swatches.
Huzzah, congrats on finishing the swatching! Step 1 completed 🙂
Thanks Tahnee! And thanks also for the reminder that I had to stop at some point. 🙂
